The Mohawk Level I Rubbing Compound will produce a LOW final sheen on coatings such as lacquer, shellac, varnish, etc. This material is also suitable for the removal of over-spray and minor surface imperfections. For rubbing to a Higher Sheen, Use Level II: RUBBING, POLISHING, & FINISHING Liquid Rubbing Compounds.

Specifications: Directions: Surface should be clean and dry. A fine, semi-paste compound containing fine cutting abrasives. Can be applied with cloth, burlap or felt to rub down all types of finishes such as shellac, lacquer and synthetic finishes. Rubbing Compound can be used for removing defects in topcoats. For Best Results wait until the finish is fully cured, 14-21 days is recommended.
