NGR DYE Color List

**Ultra Penetrating NGR (Non-Grain Raising) Transparent DYES**

NGR Dyes have excellent fade & UV resistance.
Non Grain Raising transparent dyes are used alone on bare wood to provide
a base tone of color on which to build a final finish effect and color with stains, glazes, and toners. Dyes contain NO Pigment Particles and therefore color wood without emphasizing the grain structure.
Intermix colors to arrive at custom color tones.
For use on bare or stripped wood.
• Reduce color intensity with NGR Reducer or Acetone or Denatured Alcohol
• Use NGR RETARDER to slow drying and improve penetration,
     especially in hot weather and on harder dense woods.
• Mix into Lacquer or Shellac to make transparent tints or toners.
     With the newer VOC Compliant formulation, the use of NGR RETARDER
      is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for dye application by hand.

Ultra^® Penetrating NGR DYE Stain COLOR DECK

Ultra® Penetrating NGR DYE Stain (M520 Series)
Dyes on the Color Deck are full strength, on maple
with a clear topcoat. Use for color and tone evaluation
and color selection. Use to tint lacquers and shellac.
Intermix dyes to make additional colors.

NGR DYE color chips are labeled with the color number and name.
The deck is provided on a beaded chain including a box for storage.

Note: Not all dyes are packaged in Pints. If a dye is packaged in pints it is shown in this color listing.
All Dyes are available in Gallon packaging, if shown on this list we carry it in stock,
all other colors are available by order.
