General Finishes EXTENDER / Retarder (The Hot Weather Additive)
Extender is a water base additive that can be mixed into any General Finishes water base product to give more open time to stains and topcoats.
NOTE: This product will slow down the dry time.
Extender allows more working time for better penetration and adhesion,
especially on hard dense woods, in hot weather or under rapid drying conditions.
USE: Interior and Exterior (can be mixed into any water base product)
APPLICATION: Mix into any water product and apply as normal.
HOW MUCH TO ADD: 10-20% Add in the minimum amount first and
slowly add more in 5% increments (especially with topcoats, they are already thin). Less is always better when you are using additives.
COVERAGE:
The addition of Extender will not change any square foot coverage.

RECOMMENDED USES: Can be used in any water base stain, dye, exterior stain, or topcoat.
VOC: <1023g/l (511 lbs/gal.)
