Behlen Violin Varnish
is a balanced blend of Super Blonde Shellac Flakes, Gum Mastic and Gum Sandarac. Violin Varnish produces a tough, hard elastic, and water resistant finish. May be used for touch-up and finish repair

Directions:
MIX WELL BEFORE USING.
Violin Varnish may be sprayed, brushed
or padded. Use thin multiple coats.
Dries dust free in 10 to 15 minutes.
(Note: finish does not harden as quickly as it dries).

Allow 1 to 2 hours between coats.
Allow at least 24 hours prior to rubbing out the finish.
Use Behlen BEHKOL™ (denatured alcohol) for thinning (thinning increases the drying time).

To add Color:
Use alcohol soluble aniline dye premixed in liquid form.

Contains: ethanol alcohol, shellac, butanol, isopropanol, mastic, & sandarac.

Precautions:
Do not get in eyes on skin or clothing.
Do not breathe Vapors.
Use only with adequate ventilation
Keep away from heat, sparks, or flame.

Warning:
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN
Flammable. Causes eye and skin irritation.
Harmful if swallowed. Vapor harmful.

Read and follow all label cautions.

First Aid:
If affected by the product, remove to fresh air.
If Swallowed, Do Not induce vomiting.
Flush eyes or skin immediately with plenty of water.
If exposure occurs get medical attention immediately.

Additional Notes & Information:

The traditonal luthiers fomulation makes Violin Varnish an excellent finish choice for all stringed acustic instruments.

May be thinned with Denatured Alcohol. The purity and percentage of ethanol will effect drying characteristics.
